CM Versions 6.0 and higher
Login to Website
Go to: Dashboard > Security > Groups
Click on "Add"
Enter the "Name of Security Group"
Tick the option you would like available for that security group
Click on "Save"
Go to Permissions
Select the Security Group you have just created
Apply the Permissions:
- Functions
- Folders
- Editor
- Fonts
- Menus
- Templates
- Events
- Events Public
- Lockdown
No Access - You have no access
Read Only - You have read only access, you can not edit or delete
Read / Write - You have read & write access, you can view and edit
Full Access - You have full access, you can view, edit and delete
Once you have applied the permissions click on "Save".
CM versions 5.8 and lower
Login to Website
Go to: Admin > Management Tools > Security > Groups
Click on "add"
Enter the Group Name
Tick options "Allow update of eshop address" and/or "Systems Administration Group" if needed
Click on "Save"
Go to Access
Select the Security Group you have just created
Apply the Permissions:
- Access to Administration Functions
- Access to Folders
- Access to Editor Toolbar Components:
- Access to Fonts
- Additional Lockdowns
Once you have applied the permissions click on "Save".
