    Enable RSS for Audio/Video

Can someone please explain the option "Enable RSS for Audio/Video" in the Document Manager upload screen in CM v6.0?

When this is enabled for the file e.g audio/video files would be available for RSS feeds.

You can see the rss feeds by adding a rss element to an article by calling the  page http://siteurl/rss.aspx?FolderID=[FOLDERID]&rssType=audiovideo

Note: please pass a the ID the folder where this audio/video file was uploaded.

    Re: Enable RSS for Audio/Video

     Thanks Balaji,

Does the RSS file then include an enclosure tag?

Will this only work for certain file types or any file type?

    Regards
    Hilary

    Re: Enable RSS for Audio/Video

    Hi Hilary,

If the application(e.g apple i-tunes or browser)  supports it, then any audio/video file type would work.

The enclosure tag is included in the feed.

    Thanks,

    Balaji
