    How to add new file types to be accessible via upload in the document library and image library

    Login to website

    Go to: Dashboard > Admin Tools > Allowed File Types

    Complete the fields

    File Type, Extension , Icon, Content Type


    Click Add New

    Done

    Note: This is only available for CM versions 5.8 and higher

    Hi Paul,

     I can't find upload File  Restriction under publishing  . can you provide a screenshot

    Its under Admin > Admin Tools on my system

    Hey Ken,

    It seems like you dont have access to the File Restriction Option.

    Please follow the below instructions

    Go to Dashboard > Security > Add Users to Groups (to check what security group you are i).

    Then go to Permissions and select the security group you are in.

    In the Select Function Group Option please select "Admin Tools" then apply full access to the option "Management Tools - Uploaded File Restrictions"

    Click Save

    Logout and log back into CM
