To do this go to:
Admin > Management Tools > General Site Details
Select Event Rules Option
You have the option to change the Event BG Colour (The background colour used for column headings in public event search pages).
You also have the options to Display the following:
Display Short Descr
Display Location
Display Country
Display Industry
Display Category
Display Age
Display Enrolled Name
Hide Types in Calendar
Type Multi-select
Once you have modified your options.
Click Save
