How to implement a google search in your CM search feature

Go to: Admin > Publishing > Folders

Find the Search Article (should be under the site layout folder).

There should be a search folder or Search article.

    Edit the the Search article.

Edit the Search Part (Click on the pencil icon or old elcom icon)

Under the Configure Search Box Look and Feel:

Tick option: "Show multi-site / web search options"

    Click Save & Check In

Now you are able to view the search box

To implement this on an article:

Preview the article and copy the content ( As shown below in the pic)

    Search

Paste the content into the article where you wish to display your search feature

The Search My Company option will searches the site

The Search The Group option searches the group (multisites). If your site is not a multisite you can delete this option using the Content Editor by deleting the row.

The Search The Web option is the google search feature.

    Save & Check In

Note: You can edit the styling of the Search feature using the Content Editor or CSS.
